few days ago I had the opportunity to participate in a demonstration organized by CIP Italian Paralympic Committee, which was held in the gym of my own high school.
liguria The president of CIP, along with a blind person and a guy in a wheelchair, presented the association organizing sports activities for disabled people.
E 'was great to see the enthusiasm of these boys, who have reacted in their misfortune, struggling every day with their disability , practicing different sports with great joy.
A short film showed the great abilities of disabled people, who compete with heart and determination, showing great strength of character, making us understand that it is possible to play wheelchair basketball, or football without having the view.
Some of our boys went on a wheelchair, taking part in the game of basketball, others have proven experience of Tarbal, a game for the blind and visually impaired that was very successful.
There were moments of joy, emotion and sharing with the guests.
I was struck by the phrase of the boy blind: "This year we went in the mountains, I skied, I felt incredible scents and sensations, it's great to ski in contact with nature."
Thank you, guys CIP , continues to impress with your attitude and your enthusiasm, teaching us that any misfortune can be overcome, and that you can live in harmony with its limitations.
